The Fusil Automatique Léger (“Light Automatic Rifle”) or FAL is a self-loading, selective fire battle rifle produced by the Belgian armaments manufacturer Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FN). During the Cold War it was adopted by many North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, with the notable exception of the United States. It is one of the most widely used rifles in history, having been used by over 90 countries. The FAL was predominantly chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO round, and because of its prevalence and widespread use among the armed forces of many NATO countries during the Cold War it was nicknamed “The right arm of the Free World”.
I read an interesting article the other day that makes no sense to me, however the tin foil hat crowd rarely does make sense .
U.S. health experts are saying that guns are a social disease just like a virus or alcohol or tobacco , because of the recent wake of mass shootings in the states.
Two weeks after the movie theater shootings in Colorado that saw 12 people dead and 58 injured Dr. Stephen Hargarten found himself treating victims of the Sikh temple shootings that left seven dead including the gunman, and three wounded.
He wondered is this the new social norm ?
Well Stephen look around you ,guns have ALWAYS been the social norm in America there is nothing new about it , the right to keep and bear arms is part of the CONSTITUTION !!! .
So what would happen if people put down the guns and started using baseball-bats to kill each other ? would you then say that baseball-bats are a social disease as well ? .
We live in a violent society Stephen get used to it , perhaps you should arm yourself and go with the flow .
Gun-zilla would like to remind you …..
THAT ITS BETTER TO HAVE IT AND NOT NEED IT….THAN TO NEED IT AND NOT HAVE IT !! .
